Phase Breakdown
- Phase 1: Phase 1TriggerFight start, in the Black Chambers of the PastMechanicA mix of physical and tri-elemental attacks, including a ground slam that creates a Lightning-Fire nova. Periodically the altar lowers and charges spikes around the room that fire arcing lightning bolts when touched, and he spawns stationary Solar Orbs that burn you if you linger nearby, sometimes paired with a tracking lightning beam or a flameblast at his feet that detonates any active Solar Orbs.CounterAvoid touching the charged spikes around the room during the altar phase, and keep moving away from Solar Orbs rather than fighting near them once they're active.
- Phase 2: Phase 2 (Doryani's Triumph, mech form)TriggerBelow 50% healthMechanicDoryani mounts a mech called Doryani's Triumph, gaining a frost laser arc from its left arm and a flamethrower arc from its right arm.CounterBoth arm attacks sweep in an arc, positioning outside the sweep radius rather than trying to out-heal them is the safer approach.
- Phase 3: Phase 3 (Aerial mech assault)TriggerOnce Doryani's Triumph drops below 50% healthMechanicDoryani takes to the air with detached mech legs continuously reforming to fire lasers from above, plus stationary or player-tracking Fire and Lightning pillars. Eventually the mech transforms into a giant fist that chases you (gradually losing speed) before slamming down for a massive, lethal area attack. The right arm fires a red flamethrower and the left arm a red lightning beam in a T-shaped pattern.CounterThe giant fist chase attack loses speed over time, so simply maintaining distance eventually outpaces it before the slam lands. Respect the T-shaped lightning beam's full coverage rather than assuming a small sidestep clears it.

Doryani, Royal Thaumaturge is the final boss of Act 3, fought in the Black Chambers of the Past after locating the Testing Pit. This is a three-phase escalation: a grounded caster phase, a mech-mounted melee-range phase, and finally an aerial assault phase once the mech itself is worn down.
After defeating Doryani’s Triumph, Alva escapes her imprisonment and convinces Doryani to join your side against the Beast. This fight is a major story beat, not just a difficulty check.
