- 0.5.2 2026-06-11 Difficulty nerfs to make early-endgame Delirium actually survivable after community feedback that 0.5.0's version was overtuned

Delirium League Mechanic Guide
Core loop
Triggering Delirium covers a map area in fog, spawning stronger, more dangerous monster variants the deeper you push into it. Progress is tracked on a Delirium Progress bar, with special Mirror Shards shown on the bar as you approach 100% Deliriousness.
Simulacrum
Simulacrum is the instanced, high-investment version of Delirium, built from Simulacrum Splinters. It runs a multi-wave structure — between waves, you choose one of three shard options that shape the run’s risk and reward:
- Escalating Threats — adds an additional area modifier
- Apex Predators — adds an extra boss to the encounter
- Pure Emotions — adds more Delirium monster packs
Reach the end of the wave structure and you face one of the Simulacrum’s boss encounters (Omniphobia or Kosis, depending on the run). As of 0.5.3, Simulacrums start at 100% Deliriousness and can scale up to 200% — a deliberate difficulty increase paired with the early-endgame fog nerfs, so the mechanic is easier to dip into casually but harder to fully commit to.
Practical tips
- Prioritize sustained clear speed across waves over raw single-target boss damage — Simulacrum rewards builds that can handle a gauntlet, not just a single hard hit.
- If your build can’t clear Delirium map waves efficiently, simply reaching a Simulacrum boss alive will be the bigger obstacle than the boss fight itself.
- The three between-wave shard choices are a real risk/reward lever — Pure Emotions and Escalating Threats increase density and loot potential but also raise the chance of an overwhelming pull if your build’s clear speed can’t keep up.
- Delirium overlaps with Breach for players chasing maximum density (“grand-mirror” runs), but this is a slow, high-investment strategy that needs a tanky, high-DPS build to be worthwhile.
